We had a similar problem. Domino on W2K had trouble resolving the proper DNS addresses. The server in question has 3 network cards.

Try adding this to your notes.ini, and restart Domino.

Example, use your IP addresses for DNS.
DNSSERVER=192.168.1.1,192.168.1.2
